Anti reservation protests

This is not another post about how the reservation should be opposed. I have lost all faith in our PM, after he allowed another 27% OBC reservation, making the total reservation 49%, in all IITs and IIMs. If an economist of such repute can agree to be part of such a decision, then I have no words to say. May god save your soul, Mr. Manmohan Singh, because trust me, India will always remember you and VP Singh as the Mandal villians, before anything else. You just ruined your distinguished career in public service.

I refuse to accept this stupidity, and I am willing to be part of any protest that addresses this issue.

I went to google news, and googled "IIT reservation", and found 68 news articles, and guess what, every single article was about anguish, anger, protests, pain, disheartened students, and so on.

If the whole country is against this, how can the Parliament unanimously pass this bill? How can such an undemocratic move take place in a country like ours? NDTV tells me that even the opposition is in favor of this move. Is there a voice of the people? Is there anyone who is listening to sense, sitting there in the Parliament?

If even one MP has any self respect, he should quit in disgust. But it won't happen. The IITs and the IIMs, Nehru's dream, India's pride, will go to the dogs, in a few years time. Arjun Singh, you won't even be around to look at the damage you did!
